Dr. Suguru Horinouchi – Optical and Sensor Electronics
Dr. Suguru Horinouchi is COO of Nippon Aleph Corporation, Yokohama, Japan. Nippon Aleph Corporation is a leading manufacturer of sensor and optical products, with operations in Japan, China, Europe, and North America. Dr. Horinouchi is also Chairman of NAC China, and a Professor at Chitose Institute of Science and Technology, Tokyo, Japan.
Dr. Horinouchi holds an undergraduate and graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from KEIO University, and Ph.D in Fiber Optics.
Dr. Horinouchi will advise Vai Technology vc on prospective portfolio companies which use optical and sensory electronics and semiconductors in their product or service. Dr. Horinouchi will also provide valuable insight into the sensor and optical industry, including technology trends and breakthroughs.
Jeff Jones - Automotive Electronics
Jeff Jones is a founder and CEO of Wildcat Systems LLC, Carmel, Indiana. Wildcat Systems is a startup focusing on the development of products and services for the remote tracking and monitoring industry. Jeff retired from Delphi Corporation in 2008, and has more than thirty years experience in bringing automotive electronics products to market. His most recent executive position at Delphi was Chief Technologist, Entertainment and Communications.
Jeff holds a B.S.E.E. degree from General Motors Institute.
Jeff will advise Vai Technology VC on prospective portfolio companies developing semiconductor based automotive electronics products. He will also provide insight into the entertainment and communications consumer electronics industry, including trends in technology and service delivery.
